My dog sprained what?

Here is Toby. He is normally not allowed to be on our furniture, but we made an exception tonight. This afternoon he started to be really whiney and then he started to bite at and lick his tail. Matthew called the vet to find out what we should do. The vet told him that our dog (the dumbest dog in the world) sprained his tail. I started laughing and laughed for 15 min. I still laugh when I think about it. Apparently this is common, dogs get too excited and go wild with their tails. Believe it or not, this is more common in Labs. Who'd of thunk? We have to give him baby aspirin and let him rest (wherever he chooses). I know this is serious, but it could only happen to our dog. Now when he gets excited he wags his tail and it hurts so he stops, then he is excited that it doesn't hurt so he wags it again. He spends about a minute or so every once in a while in this viscious little cycle (this proves that he really is the dumbest dog in the world). To top it all off, Major left yesterday and he is lonely.

Is it okay if I laugh too. That is dang funny. Dogs are just dumb but what would we do without our friends. that sounds like a labby thing to do. HAHAHAHAHAH

I am glad you were able to 'fix' your dog's problem! He probably is just lonely - like you said. Let's go plant beans in our garden this week!
